Spring Days

Well,we are right into spring now so thought Id try to give my blog a little makeover hehe.Was getting a bit dull I think

We are the first week into school holidays.Love it! The summer gear is out and the weather is fab.We really havent done much so far.Jase went up to his parents over the long weekend.His mum is going through a tough time as her brother has terminal cancer so he thought the visit would cheer her up

Ness & Craig came up on sunday with my niece and nephew and as their birthday is the day after Haydens (they are twins) ,Lauren is in a week and a half and mine was 2 days after Haydens (which is the day after Maddy & Connors ..if you follow)it was pressies all round.They also gave K a pressie too as they didnt want her to feel left out.How nice! We had a BBQ and a really nice day.

Its also been a week for catching up with old friends as well.Out of the blue I heard from an old friend.We lost contact years ago and Ive often wondered how she was doing so that was really special to hear from her.Also been in touch with a few other friends too..All thanks to the wonders of the internet.

Okay well I better be off.Ill finish off my posting a pic of my cowgirl Kayley.I took this shot earlier before she raced back inside to play.She saw this hat whilst shopping the other day and would not take it off. I called it a cowboy hat and was quickly corrected.."Its Cowgirl Mum..NOT boy" I stand corrected LOL

Happy Birthday Hayden

Cant believe my boy is 10 today.Where have the years gone.Please dont make the next 10 go as fast

He had a sleepover party on Saturday night with 5 friends.OMG who would have known boys could gas bag so much.A nice group of boys but a few that are quite loud LOL.I notice it as Hayden is a fairly quiet kid.Anyway i think they were up most of the night but had a ball which is what its all about

He got spoilt and didnt want to go to school today

Here are some pics.The first is him blowing out the candles on his choc mud Pokemon cake.I made it and it was a disaster that came together well in the end

Last is of him at his choice of venue for dinner tonight..Lonestar.He got this brownie for free (YUM!) and cacked himself laughing when the staff all got together and sang happy birthday whilst half the people dining there joined in as well

The damage

Well we got to take the bandage off Kayleys chin yesterday

It doesnt look near as bad now its stitched up.Very lucky where it is, as although it will scar I think looking front on you will barely notice it

Been telling her to slow down bit and at preschool.She is steering clear of the sand pit (dont want sand getting amongst the stitches)and climbing

Ive also been telling her to please dont touch it and explained about how germs can cause infection .She told me today that at preschool they all wanted to look and some even wanted to touch it but she told them not to as it is germs LOL She got it round the wrong way but at least we didnt have any grotty hands on her chin

An accident

My poor Kayles had an accident on friday at preschool.She somehow slipped from the top of the climbing thingo and has caught it on something on the way down.
2 gashes on her chin an inch each.She had 6 stitches

I was quite shocked when i saw it..It looked deep and lots of blood.I tried to remain calm for her but couldnt stop the tears when she was having the needles in her chin.She was trying so hard to be brave but it obviously hurt a lot

The preschool were fantastic as they always are.The assistant came in the car with us so she could hold the wound

So proud of my big little brave girl.You have always been a tough little cookie

Birthday Mania!!

September is a crazy birthday month for us..so many birthdays.Next week we have 7 in the space of 5 days.

Hayden turns 10 very soon and is having a birthday sleepover party with 6 boys so that should be fun LOL

Daisy Chains

What a fun packed weekend my girls and I have had

Jase has gone away with his brother and Hayden for a boys weekend leaving us girls to do what we do best..girly stuff

The girls and I have done so much.Lea and Bai came shopping with us on Sat to one of my fav shops.We even managed to find a nice stationary shop so Lauren was in love with that and already asking when we can go back

Then we headed off to my SILS.The girls had fun playing with their cousins Kymberlie and Selena and (Aunty)Sylvia had asked us to pack our pjs in the hope that her and i would have some drinkies after (trying) to get all the girls to bed.We had chinese and they took over 2hrs to deliver.Had we of known up front we would have picked up.Anyway we had a great night but I had 1 glass of wine and I crashed on the lounge.Great company I turned out to be LOL must have been all that shopping

Today we went shopping again but this time just some groceries and then visited my parents.Was so great to see them as they have been away travelling for months and got back friday night.My brothers called in with their families so was great to see them too

We did lots of other little fun things as well.Lauren said tonight she didnt want the weekend to end

Here a pic of the girls today.Yes it was a bit to cold to go swimming which they soon discovered after pestering me to let them go in.The weather was beautiful but the water was COLD .They are here with my brothers gorgeous 8 week old Jack Russell puppy.Her name is Roxy and we could have easily brought her home.Poor thing didnt get left alone
