My Scrapper Girl!

Lauren has fallen in love with scrapbooking.She has always loved craft and she LOVES stationary. The girl has so many notepads and fancy pens she could open up her own shop.Its funny because they are the sort of things i liked as a girl too.She would much rather be let loose in Office works than have the latest toy

Recently she gave up dancing.Was a bit sad to see her let it go after all the work she has put in.She really did enjoy it but i think in her mind it was time to move on.

She had been pestering me for ages to try and get her into a proper scrapbooking class.I have never actually put my hand to it myself although I know i could if i found the time ,so it was something that was her own idea

Anyway I got her into a class these school hols just past and OMG she absolutely loved it and filled up nearly a whole book within the following week.Next month she starts Scrapper school which is 2hrs every friday night.She cant wait.I better get my butt into gear and order some photos.They usually just sit on the computer and rarely make it into print

Ive neglected my Blog

I havent written in a while.Sometimes I wonder if anyone would be interested in reading about my mundane life anyway LOL.Not that Im complaining..Im a happy girl.I just think from the outside it cant seem too interesting LOL.Hubby says my blog is sad (not the unhappy sad..the kinda daggy sad IYNWIM)Hes just stirring of course but it doesnt exactly encourage me

Anyway..kids were back to school last week after 2 weeks holidays so we are getting back to the normal routine.Oh how nice the holidays are.We went bowling and caught up with friends and had days at home

Dreams!

Thought Id share my all time fav song.I would probably have been around 8 when i first heard it.Dad loved his music and he loved it loud (he still does)and Fleetwood Mac " Rumours" album was a fav.I could listen to this over and over and still to this day i have never tired of it.It has been covered quite a bit over the years.The Corrs do a great version but the original sung by Stevie is my fav.Here is a fairly recent live version.Not quiet as good as the original.Stevie has been singing this song for 30years now

My Man Hayden

Decided to share a pic of my beautiful boy Hayden.I havent posted a pic of him yet.You will find that Little Miss Kayley features a lot on this blog .This is due to the fact that she hasnt started school yet so she is around a lot and also she LOVES having her pic taken and has only got to see the camera and she will be grinning from ear to ear.My other 2 are not quite as obliging and i am more likely to hear groaning

This pic was taken only a few weeks ago.Hayden will be 10 this year which is really hard to believe as the years have just flown by so quick.He is a sweet,affectionate boy although with some attitude coming through lately LOL.Fingers crossed that its just a passing phase

My Baby is 5 today

My gorgeous girl turned 5 today.She was sooo excited that she couldnt sleep last night.She woke her brother and sister up at 3.30 and got them out of bed so they could watch her open her presents.Not suprisingly they were sent back to bed

The haircut

Lauren has decided to give up dancing so she now has free reign on her hair.Today we got it cut into a bob and got a light fringe cut in.She is like me and has a longish forehead so i think this suits her.She also has the knottiest hair on the planet so this will keep me sane on school mornings.I managed to snap this quickly before she hopped into bed.She is not keen on having her pic taken lately.I think she finds mummy with camera annoying LOL
